Contract and Budget Management
Clinical trial agreements require careful review and consideration. The Institut für anwendungsorientierte Forschung und klinische Studien(IFS) reviews agreements proposed by pharmaceutical companies and assesses the projected costs prior to contract conclusion. This trial agreement and budget audit helps to clarify legal issues and to avoid financial risks. To this end, the IFS cooperates closely with an external legal office.
Specialized in designing and conducting trials
More than 200 trials were registered in 2009, an average of more than one trial per working day. The IFS also registers, designs, and conducts clinical studies on behalf of other German clinics and teaching hospitals. Structured planning and close collaboration in conceptualizing and conducting studies frees medical specialists to focus on and devote their efforts to research.
Contract Management
Prior to conclusion of clinical trial agreements between a pharmaceutical company and the investigative site (contract research/IIT)the IFS reviews the clinical trial agreement.
